This project features Dave Gordon using the trumpet as a human voice. You are going to hear an artist who becomes one with his axe and surroundings. And for the first time on record, you'll hear "syntrump", a synthesized trumpet. That's right! I Am Syntrump. Dave has been compared to such greats as Miles Davis and Freddie Hubbard.

Dave is a native of St. Louis, the trumpet city, and when you hear this album, you'll say that Dave has a style all his own, which is soulful, colorful, and very emotional.
